Keloid/Scar Injections

Keloid scars can be treated with steroid injections to reduce inflammation and soften the tissue. Steroid injections can reduce the raised or full scars, and is best employed within the first few months after the scar forms. A referral is required for an initial evaluation to assess the scars and the appropriate treatment plan.
