Skin Conditions

Dr. Baldwin has additional postgraduate training in skin conditions (a Postgraduate Diploma in Dermatology, Queen Mary University of London) and sees patients for medical skin concerns at both clinics. These are medical visits covered by MSP - they book by referral rather than online.

How to Get Referred

Ask your family doctor or nurse practitioner to send a referral to Dr. Baldwin at Hillside Medical Clinic in Victoria or Kensington Medical Clinic in Burnaby. Once the referral is received, the clinic will contact you to arrange an appointment.

While you wait, the patient resources library has practical handouts on acne, rosacea, eczema, and skin care routines.

For referring physicians: common reasons to refer include treatment-resistant acne, rosacea, or eczema; diagnostic uncertainty; suspicious lesions needing assessment; keloids; and patients facing long specialist wait times for skin conditions. Referrals by letter or fax to either clinic.
